Blog entry 3

We learned a lot of information about searching with Google in this power searching with Google unit. Some of the searching strategies we learned would be practical uses for me. One practical thing I learned that I would use is the control F key that's really cool and useful when I need to find specific information on a large results page. Another one is the conversions searches that you can do. This is really helpful because in chemistry I need to convert certain units to other units and this will help me get the answer I am looking for fast. Another practical use is the site operator this helps when I want to get information from a specific website like .gov,  net, .edu. My last practical use is the minus function where I can take of certain words from my search results that I don't want there. This also helps me find exactly what information I want.
